Retreats

The wives of service members are all too familiar with both the invisible and visible wounds that come with war. With those injuries come a host of circumstances that may feel unbearable. At our Wounded Warrior Wives Retreats, you don’t have to feel that burden alone.

At the WWW retreats, you will be able to share your story with other women that have found themselves in similar situations as you and learn how to cope in your role as a caregiver, learn more about:
• Invisible wounds such as PTSD and TBI
• How to cope with your role as a caregiver
• Deep relaxation techniques
• Solutions unique to your needs

The retreats are within driving distance and are of no cost to you. The registration fees, meals, and hotel room are all free.

Retreat Sponsorship Opportunities

Is your company looking for an opportunity to support military families?  If so, sponsorship of a Wounded Warrior Wives retreat might be a good fit for your company.  These exciting, two day retreats, are an opportunity for 65 members of our Wounded Warrior Wives program to participate in stress management, self-care courses, and to develop solid relationship strategies.  These courses are designed to help these caregivers deal with the stress and fatigue of the new lifestyle they are forced to deal with.

Operation Homefront would love to offer additional retreats and are only limited by funding.

Benefits to sponsor: By offering more retreats at additional locations we broaden our span of support to military families we both seek to serve.  Moreover, as the title sponsor of these events, your company will get significant name recognition throughout the promotion and events themselves, and will be able to designate representatives that will be invited to participate and speak to the attendees.

Sponsorship Request:  $40,000 - $65,000 per event (amount varies depending on number of attendees)
